For the first time ever The Association of Packaging and Processing Technologies, PMMI, will be hosting Pack Expo East in response to demand for an East Coast location. The expo will be held in Philadelphia, PA from February 16th through the 18th and is a great opportunity for companies that were unable to attend Pack Expo in Chicago to come and interact with other packaging professionals in a variety of markets, including pharmaceutical, medical devices, food and beverage, personal care, and electronics. The tradeshow expects over 4,000 attendees and will have more than 300 exhibitors, including PAC Strapping.
We’ll be located at booth 761 and we will be unveiling our latest projects, including our new line of polyester cord strapping, which has been in development for a year as well as some of our newest strapping machines, which received a lot of positive feedback at the Pack Expo in Chicago. We encourage all of our East Coast clients to register for the show now and visit our booth to see our new products in action.

As we mentioned in an earlier blog post this year we’ll be exhibiting at this year’s Pack Expo for the 10th year in row. This is the largest show for the industrial packaging business in North America and is commonly attended by sales managers, engineers, production supervisors, purchasers, package designers, and more. Attendees come from around the world to meet with exhibitors from a variety of industries including food and beverage, chemical, electronics, metals, paper, and more as well as see the latest packaging technologies.
The show runs from Nov. 2-5th and boasts over 2,000 exhibitors and will have over 1.2 million net square feet at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Pack Expo will also host educational seminars and presentations throughout the expo. The Innovation Stage will have free 30 minute seminars throughout expo with presentations from companies such as ConAgra and GE. PMMI will also host two training sessions, the Risk Assessment Workshop on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 and the Certified Trainer Workshop on Nov. 3-4.
For our part we will be showcasing some of our new and innovative equipment at booth 8265 in the Lakeside Upper Hall. Visitors can see our PAC Modular Pallet Strapping System and we’ll also be displaying new polyester strapping that makes an ideal replacement for steel strapping. Be sure to stop by our booth if you’re attending and for our other East Coast friends who can’t make it to Chicago, PMMI will hold Pack Expo East in Philadelphia on February 16-18th, 2015.
